The Social Link

The purpose of the Social Link is to guide and support children in their development of self-awareness, perspective-taking, and empathy toward peers. We teach appropriate and fluent conversation and interactive play skills to children between the ages of 4 and 10 years old. The Social Link curriculum is designed to provide participants with the tools they need in order to interpret "hidden" social cues and understand social conventions. Our teaching methodology utilizes knowledge from the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

The Social Link curriculum is comprised of "core concepts" to be addressed over 16-week sessions. Families receive weekly feedback and ideas for generalization of their child's emerging social skills. Each group is facilitated by a team of professionals who are trained to provide the highest quality of intervention throughout each session. Afternoon and evening groups are available. Private and LISS funding accepted.
